One particular of 70 pictures from the 17th Annual Big, Negative, and Ugly Surf Celebration by the Estero Bay Surf Club – images by Mike Baird, bairdphotos.com – Shot Raw w/ a Canon 5D w/ 600 mm f/four. IS lens with polarizer and a robust tripod (one/1600 or one/1250 shutter priority). Not like several of my other surf pictures, right here I largely attempted to capture near-up shots of several of the participants no matter of the technical elements of the journey. Many thanks to Delighted Pet dog and Joe for producing me experience welcome to their occasion. All pictures are posted in entire-resolution but cropped. Surf Scoter – grownup douleur

Entire alternate plumage, with brightly embellished invoice. Notice the pale eye and the white patches on forhead and again of neck. The feathers of the forehead place extend nicely onto the invoice. The Surf Scoter flies speedier than any other duck (70 mph), and the douleur wings develop a loud and rather warbling whistle.
Surf at Two Lights nine

Probably the best surf picture I acquired on this roll. Notice the particular person at the still left giving scale the waves at Two Lights seriously do crash that high.
Hi, I run Surfer Girls and would love it if you added this shot and others depicting female surfers to the pool.
Please note that there must a visible indication of a female surfer in the photo; in other words she should be surfing, have a board with her or be wearing a wetsuit or second skin/rash vest. Photos related to other surf sports such as windsurfing, kite surfing, paddle skiing and bodyboarding are also welcome.
